Located in north central Kansas, Concordia is the County Seat for Cloud County and is also known as the Stained Glass Capital of Kansas.  The town of Concordia is well known for being the home of Frank Carlson, former U.S. Senator and Governor of Kansas. 

Concordia offers a great school district, Cloud County Community College, Cloud County Health Center, a sports complex, airport and industrial park, and a variety of churches.  Attractions include the Brown Grand Theater, National Orphan Train Complex, POW Camp, Frank Carlson Library, Meridian Way Wind Farm, the Cloud County Museum, and it is home to “The Whole Wall” – the largest brick mural in the United States.

Yearly events in Concordia are celebrated from April to September.  They  include the Cloud County Community College Scholarship Auction, the Cloud County Fair, Relay for Life, Concordia Music Festival and the Fall Fest.
