This small, rural community (originally known as West Hampton) has a strong agricultural presence.

popular hobbies in this area.
Glen Elder’s
Community Club puts on a Halloween parade and party, a Christmas
lighting ceremony, and an Easter egg hunt each year.
Glen Elder also hosts the Glen Elder Fun Days in July and a
city-wide garage sale in the spring.
