At the junction of I-70 and I-135 you will find the city of Salina.  Located in central Kansas, Salina is a growing city. Both former Kansas Governor Bill Graves and Astronaut Steve Hawley have called Salina home. 

Salina is home to Kansas Wesleyan University, Kansas State University – Salina, Brown Mackie College, Salina Area Technical College, Academy of Hair Design, and the Highway Patrol Training Academy.  While these schools bring in students from all over, attractions like the Rolling Hills Zoo, the Smoky Hill Museum, the Stiefel Theater, Salina Art Center, Salina Speedway, Fly Wheels Yesteryear Museum, and the Smokey Hill Vineyards & Winery also attract an abundance of visitors.
