Duane M. Blythe, CTFA joined Central National Bank in 1989, currently he holds the title of Vice President and Trust Division Manager for the Trust and Private Financial Services Division.  In addition to giving guidance to this division, Mr. Blythe primarily serves the Junction City and surrounding communities.

Duane received his bachelor of science degree from Kansas State University in 1987.  In 1993, he graduated with honors from the Bank Administrative Institute’s Graduate School of Banking held in Madison, Wisconsin.  Later in 1988 he earned his Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation.  Since 1989, Mr. Blythe has worked with Central National Bank in the Trust Department.  Prior to that he worked for Farm Credit Services out of Wichita, Kansas.

Outside of the office Duane has been active in the financial industry, serving in various capacities with the Kansas Bankers Association Trust Division including President in 1995.  Currently he serves as a board member on the KBA / NBA Trust School Committee and the MOKAN planning committee.  Both of these boards plan annual training conferences for trust professionals.   With a young family, Mr. Blythe also finds himself extremely busy with family activities including church, 4H, Baseball, Basketball and numerous other activities.  Recently, Duane was elected to a four year term on unified school district #481 board where he will be challenged with the current Kansas State finance situation.
